FRIDAY

Thousands of music fans from across the planet will flock to the Dutch capital for the DGTL experience, and from the moment doors open on Friday festival goers can expect an onslaught of sonic perfection. UK maestro Bonobo returns after his phenomenal, viral Boiler Room set at DGTL ’23, looking to deliver more of the same dance floor-destroying moments. Long-time friend of DGTL and one of the world’s most revered electronic artists, DJ Koze is back and looking to take things up a gear; and riding high on the critical acclaim of her stunning debut album MADRES, Sofia Kourtesis promises to provide one of the must-see sets of DGTL Amsterdam 2024. Add to the mix hotly anticipated DJ sets from Maribou State and Coco Coquelicot and it’s one hell of an opening night from the DGTL powers-that-be.

SATURDAY

Saturday’s DGTL line-up is unsurprisingly stacked to the rafter with a blistering array of talent, with lovers of all things electronica absolutely spoilt for choice. Now cemented as one of techno’s brightest stars, Ki/Ki returns to deliver a headline set that fans of the harder sounds won’t want to miss. Âme & Dixon come together for a very rare B2B set, ARTBAT are back to follow up on their massive 2022 DGTL showcase, Brazilian star Valentina Luz is in the house with her furious selection of house, techno and funk, and one of the most hotly anticipated sets of the whole festival, Dutch melodic mastermind Mees Salomé will perform his first ever live show. Boiler Room, which now moves inside the vast halls of the NDSM Warehouse, hosts legendary vinyl-only powerhouse Freddy K (who also goes b2b with Blawan), and furious bass moves courtesy of Femme Bass Mafia don DJ Fuckoff.

SUNDAY

Sunday, and the energy at NDSM Docklands gets turned up to 11. One of the hottest artists on the planet right now, Marlon Hoffstadt aka DJ Daddy Trance touches down to officially cancel Sunday as a day of rest. WhoMadeWho, who headlined DGTL USA 2023, bring their live show to DGTL’s flagship event, as do DGTL ADE 2022 alumni Worakls Band, and Patrick Mason, who killed it back at ADE 2023. Fresh from her debut album with band The Charm in 2023, Avalon Emerson returns to her DJ roots, looking to take things up a notch from her unforgettable Lowlands set. From South Africa, Amapiano trailblazers Major League Djz look set to bring some serious heat to proceedings, while closer to home, Dutch man-of-the-moment Chris Stussy is on hand to bring DGTL crowds to their feet for a final crescendo of all things house. On the Boiler Room stage, DGTL Records mainstay Coloray makes his Boiler Room debut, LSDXOXO delivers his first Boiler Room set in five years, while Boys Noize celebrates two decades at the helm of global dance music.

Additionally, the iconic Boiler Room stage will be making a return, but this year it\\\’s moving inside, away from the slope outside like last year.

KUNGs, David Guetta & Izzy Bizu celebrate life on new dance anthem ‘All Night Long’

Kungs has never been shy about it: the 26-year-old DJ & producer behind the hits ‘This Girl’, ‘Never Going Home’ and ‘Substitution’ with Purple Disco Machine, which have gained billions of streams worldwide, is a big admirer of the electronic mogul David Guetta. Since meeting in 2016, the two have forged a singular relationship. Although Valentin Brunel aka Kungs benefits from the expertise and advice of the mastermind behind global hits like ‘Titanium’ ft. Sia or, more recently, ‘I\\\’m Good (Blue)’ ft. Bebe Rexha, he is pursuing his own career, asserting his unique identity as a DJ and producer on the new electronic scene in France and around the world.

It’s no surprise then that there’s such a strong artistic connection between Valentin and David. Between studio sessions and long-distance exchanges, their cooperation is a captivating merry-go-round, teeming with ideas, concepts, and visions, shaping ‘All Night Long’ as the banger of 2024.

Bringing together two generations of the French Touch scene, ‘All Night Long’ is a dance anthem that combines addictive melodies, high-energy production and soulful pop vocals. Kungs and David Guetta’s exquisite synergy, marked by their longstanding collaboration, provides the perfect platform for Izzy Bizu’s unique voice, which blends pop hooks with indie vibes over frank, heartfelt lyrics.

‘All Night Long’ began with the three artists\\\’ desire to create a unifying anthem celebrating festivity, carefreeness, and desire. Working remotely between Paris, San Diego, Miami and London, the project took shape around the philosophy of making people dance.

The track’s celebratory energy is perfectly embodied in the official video, \\\”Shadows\\\” directed by Ferina, which explores themes of youth and love in a muggy, suffocating, end-of-the-world atmosphere, where the only motto is to live to the fullest. Part life story, part cinematic journey, the story is told through characters and a series of simple, identifiable events, like a living “tableau” of a sensory voyage.

With their promise of a brighter tomorrow, Kungs, David Guetta and Izzy Bizu deliver a unifying, positive and unfiltered celebration of life with ‘All Night Long’.

HELLMATE, Santiago & Carlitos, Chantal Lewis-Brown – Show Me Love | Glasgow Underground

If there\\\’s one song so brilliant yet so saturated that we thought we would never want to do a version, it is \\\”Show Me Love\\\”. It\\\’s the kind of song that is so iconic that any remakes would have old DJs shouting at clouds and certain Facebook groups spouting comments by the 100s faster than you can say, \\\”SOME RECORDS SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHED!!\\\” However, as you all know, we are focussed only on making happy dancefloors and regularly eat those comments for breakfast! Honestly, though, even our A&Rs took some convincing with this song. However, after seeing this version destroy dancefloors big and small with equally devastating effects, we knew we had to do it. Up stepped Chantal Brown and delivered her fantastic take on this killer song. Add to that the system-shaking beats of Hellmate and Santiago & Carlitos, and we have another supreme party starter for your sets.

Official Gregor Tresher Remix: The Streets ‘3 Minutes To Midnight’

Given the co-sign by Mike Skinner himself, Gregor Tresher’s monumental reimagining of The Streets\\\’ \\\’3 Minutes To Midnight\\\’, once an anonymous gem, is now getting an official release via Gregor’s label Break New Soil.

Gregor\\\’s admiration for The Streets\\\’ seminal 2002 album, ‘Original Pirate Material,’ has fuelled his unwavering support for Mike Skinner\\\’s extraordinary musical journey.

This rework quickly became a closely-guarded secret weapon, setting dance floors ablaze wherever he played it. The idea of reaching out to The Streets arose, driven by curiosity about Mike\\\’s reaction to the remix. Not only did he appreciate it, but he also granted the label permission to officially release it on Break New Soil.
